Seatmap Editor
As part of an IT project, BDE Software Services GmbH has built a customized and powerful seating plan editor for a leading company in the online ticketing and events sector as part of its software solutions. The powerful web application, which was developed as individual software, is delivered in multiple languages for a large number of users worldwide. Furthermore, a client was developed that can be used and customized by integrators and enables the online sale of event tickets.
Technologies
Modern technologies such as Angular.js, Java Spring Boot and MongoDB are used. The particular challenge of the seating plan editor lies in the resilience and robustness of the web application, as many thousands of seats, rows or similar have to be loaded for large seating plans. In order to avoid any loss of performance, this requirement was solved through targeted software optimization with the JavaScript library D3.js. Based on SVG graphics, a wide variety of shapes can be created and manipulated to simulate seating plans, e.g. concert halls, stadiums, open-air concerts. The scalability of the SVG elements and the dynamic rendering of the website ensure user-friendly operation. The selected IT infrastructure supports the smooth integration and efficient operation of the entire solution.Further Projects
