Real Estate Platform - Intermediary Profile

As part of a restructuring, BDE Software Service GmbH took over the software development of a new intermediary profile for a well-known real estate portal. The intermediary profile was recognized within the framework of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) as a clearly defined area within the client's domain (Bounded Context). The goal of this cloud-based solution was to increase the visibility of intermediaries and generate more leads, thus offering intermediaries greater value from the platform. The system consists of a B2B section (including back-office) for managing intermediary profiles and a B2C section for displaying the profiles. Additionally, a platform component was developed to seamlessly integrate intermediary profile data into other contexts. A key advantage of the new solution is the significantly improved performance, which currently processes several hundred thousand requests daily with high efficiency, ensuring scalability.

Technologies

The project relies on cutting-edge AWS cloud technologies. In the backend, an API Gateway with AWS Lambda, developed in TypeScript, is used. Asynchronous event processing is handled via SNS and SQS, while DynamoDB and S3 are used for data persistence and provisioning. The frontend uses React with server-side rendering (SSR) via Lambda and CloudFront as the CDN. The entire development process is supported by Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), using tools such as CircleCI and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
